Windrow
Windrow is the complete operations platform for a municipal materials-recovery and organics authority — kerbside collection across six districts and 84,000 households, a Materials Recovery Facility with optical sorters, an open-air windrow composting pad, a household hazardous-waste drop-off and a reuse and repair shop. The Collection Board runs the day: route code, district, vehicle, driver and loader, stream, households served, set-out rate, tonnes collected, completion percentage and missed-collection flags. Fleet & Depot tracks the rear-loaders, side-loaders, roll-offs and street sweeper with odometer, hydraulic and lift faults, inspection dates, fuel and electric consumption and spare availability. The MRF Sorting Line gives the line's live picture — infeed tonnes per hour, optical sorter and eddy-current separator uptime, bale counts by commodity across OCC, mixed paper, PET, HDPE natural and colour, aluminium UBC, steel and film, inbound contamination rate by route, and downtime reasons. The Compost Pad tracks every windrow by ID with its feedstock blend, turn count and last turn date, core temperature against the PFRP 55°C for 15 days requirement, moisture, C:N ratio, day-in-process against the 90-day target and screening and curing status. Commodity Markets & Bales holds bale inventory, market price per tonne, shipped loads by broker and revenue against budget. Contamination & Route Audits runs cart-tagging audits, photo-flagged offenders by district, repeat-offender escalation and education letters. Hazardous & Special Waste logs the HHW drop-off by stream with manifest numbers and licensed hauler, and Diversion & Reporting shows monthly diversion by district against the 60% target with tonnes landfilled, recovered and composted. The Resident Portal is the household's own product: collection day and the next three pickups, a searchable A–Z lookup of 44 items telling you which cart each one goes in, your cart's contamination-tag history with the actual feedback left, and booking flows for bulky-item pickup and HHW drop-off appointments. Visually Windrow is Memphis-Milano postmodern rather than the sage-and-kraft eco cliché: an asymmetric bento of overlapping keylined plates on a pale ground, confetti dots, squiggles and quarter-arcs as deliberate furniture, sticker badges with hard offset shadows, a diversion-figures marquee, and drawn plates for the three-cart trio and the compost core-temperature curve. Remix it for any municipal service, logistics, environmental-services or route-based operations business.
