Hogline

Hogline runs a curling club end to end — the draw, the ice and everything the members touch. It is built for a 640-member, six-sheet club with four evening leagues, a Learn-to-Curl intake, two annual bonspiels, junior and wheelchair programmes, a 48-rock inventory and a licensed lounge above the ice. The League Draw board assigns teams to sheets A–F across the week with skips, draw times and byes; the Live Scoreboard keeps an end-by-end linescore in tabular figures with the hammer indicator and running totals. The Ice Plant & Pebble Log is the part most club software ignores: brine supply and return temperature, ice surface temperature against a target band, dehumidifier RH, header pressure, compressor hours, ammonia charge, and a per-sheet scrape and pebble schedule. Rock Match tracks all 48 stones by running band in feet of curl, flags the ones drifting outside the matched band, and records handle colours and honing dates. Bonspiel Manager handles entries, brackets, draw times and the spare list. Membership & Lockers covers dues, locker assignments and ice-time credits, the Learn-to-Curl page takes bookings, the lounge till closes out the bar, and My Club gives each member their own draws, team and stats. Visually it is drawn from the Polish Poster School — flat four-ink lithograph colour, poster-scale condensed type that overlaps itself, hard offset shadows, registration marks, a live results marquee, and hand-drawn plates: the concentric house, a sheet plan with hoglines and tee lines, the ice-temperature curve and the running-band chart.
