Visual Edit lets you click directly on text in your app preview and change it yourself — no AI request, no waiting, and no credits used. Text edits made with Visual Edit are completely free.

When to use Visual Edit

Use it any time you want to change words on a page:

  • Swap example testimonials for your real ones
  • Replace sample metrics, prices, or case-study numbers with your actual figures
  • Update contact details, names, and links
  • Fix typos or tweak headlines

How it works

Why your first build contains example content

When you generate an app, the AI fills in any details you didn't provide with realistic example content — sample testimonials, placeholder metrics, an example about section, and so on. This is intentional: a complete-looking first draft is much easier to react to and edit than a page full of empty [YOUR TEXT HERE] boxes.

Pro tip: give the AI your real details up front

The more real information you include in your first prompt, the less example content the AI needs to invent. Try including:

  • Who your audience is
  • Your actual offer, pricing, and key numbers
  • Real testimonials or case studies (paste them in)
  • Contact info and links
  • Your brand voice (friendly and casual, premium and minimal, etc.)
